Beaming Bins Ltd Terms and Conditions of Business for Domestic Wheelie Bin Cleaning

  1. About this Contract
    • Our Terms and Conditions represent a contract. This contract is made between Beaming Bins Ltd and the Client.
    • You agree that any use of the services provided by Beaming Bins Ltd shall constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  1. The Service
    • The service Beaming Bins Ltd provides under these terms and conditions is a pre-paid (for example 1, 3 or 6 credits) domestic wheelie bin cleaning service. See section 5 for Conditions of Service.
  1. The Fees
    • Service fees are payable as agreed at the point of order acceptance between Beaming Bins Ltd and the client. Beaming Bins Ltd will confirm the service ordered and payment details by email or other agreed method.
    • The payment method will be agreed at the point of order and confirmed by Beaming Bins Ltd who will provide the details required to make the payment.
    • Currently Beaming Bins Ltd does not charge VAT.
  1. Cancellations
    • Contract cancellation within 14 days of placing the order (Customer) – You have the right to cancel the contract for any reason with 14 days of placing the order. If we have already delivered the service (in the instance of a one-off clean) we cannot refund your order as we have already delivered an irreversible service. If we have already partially delivered the service (for instance in the case of a first clean being completed in a 12 week service contract) we will charge the already delivered clean at the price of the one-off clean and refund the balance.
    • Contract cancellation (Beaming Bins) – in the event that Beaming Bins Ltd requires to cancel the contract, the customer will be provided a minimum of 14 days notice. Any outstanding credits will be refunded to the customer within 14 days on a pro-rata basis.
    • In the event of a customer relocating, the pre-paid order for services may transfer to the new address where possible. If it is not possible to transfer the service a discretionary refund may be arranged. Refunds will be calculated based on recalculating the order on the product which closest meets the delivered service (i.e. 1 or 3 cleaning credits).
    • All orders will be regarded as fulfilled within a period of 12 months from the order date, regardless of the number of cleans that have been delivered.
    • Beaming Bins Ltd reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for pre-paid bin cleaning services.
  2. Delivery
    • We will not commence with delivering your service until it has been paid for.  Payment includes the receipt of a cheque, money by bank transfer, a card payment processed through our online or telephone payments systems or the receipt of cash.
    • Once payment has been received for your order, we will normally start the delivery of the service on the next bin emptying cycle. If possible, we will advise you by email the week we will be coming to clean your bins. If you request that the cleaning commence on a certain date, we will endeavour to meet this request.
    • We reserve the right to move customers on a 4 weekly cleaning cycle onto the alternative 2 weekly bin emptying cycle by either delaying the first clean or by spacing a clean to either a 2 week or 6 week period. We will always inform you if we require to move you on the cleaning cycle for any reason.
    • An order will be regarded as completed (or fully delivered) when the last clean has been made in the pre-paid cleaning service order – this may be 1, 3 or 6 cleans.
  3. Conditions of Service
    • Customers are requested to ensure that their bin is always marked with their house number.
    • Beaming Bins Ltd operates a kerbside service and customers are requested to leave their bin on the boundary after it has been emptied so that it can be cleaned. Bins will be left at the boundary after cleaning, or relocated to your property at the operative’s discretion. If you have an assisted collection, please inform us and we will collect and return the bin to its storage position for you.
    • We cannot clean a bin if it is contaminated with wet paint, excessive amounts of wet oil, or cat, dog or human faeces. Contaminated bins will not be cleaned and this may result in a loss of cleaning credits.
    • If any rubbish remains in the bin after the refuse collection it will be at the operative’s discretion as to whether cleaning can be carried out. If the operative decides to clean the bin then any rubbish removed will be bagged up and returned. If the bin can not be cleaned this may result in a loss of cleaning credits.
    • If your bin is going to be unavailable for cleaning on a scheduled cleaning day i.e. holiday’s please give at least 24 hours advance notice to Beaming Bins Ltd in order to preserve the cleaning credit otherwise it may be lost.
    • Beaming Bins Ltd will always try to clean your bins at the first opportunity after they have been emptied. If the bin is not emptied on the scheduled day, we will endeavour to clean it once it is emptied if notified by the customer, or at the next scheduled emptying day.
    • If the Council notifies the customer of any change to the refuse collection please ensure that Beaming Bins Ltd is made aware of it.
    • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that Beaming Bins Ltd has the correct and current contact details.
  1. Validity of Terms and Conditions
    • Beaming Bins Ltd reserves the right to change, amend and update these terms and conditions without prior notice. If we update these terms and conditions any changes will appear on this website.
    • Such revised terms and conditions will be effective 21 days from the date of posting. It is therefore recommended that you review these terms and conditions periodically and at least every 21 days.
    • You will have been deemed to have accepted these changes if we do not receive any written representations from you within a period of 30 days from the date of the changes.
    • These Terms and Conditions are valid from 24 October 2015 and supersede any previous versions.
